      Miss Dorothy Mae Davis and Robert Donald Modler were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the First Christian Church in Polo. Officiating clergyman was the Rev. Clifton E. Butler. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Davis of rural Leaf River. Mrs. Agnes Bridgeman of Woosung and John Modler of Sterling are the parents of the bridegroom. For her wedding, the bride chose a light green suit with white accessories and a corsage of pink carnations. Attending the couple were Miss Janis Embick of Mount Morris and Edward Stafford of Dixon. Miss Embick wore a light blue suit, pink accessories and a corsage of pink carnations. bridal Following the had ceremony, at the party supper Lincoln Manor House in Dixon. The bride is a graduate of Leaf River High School. Her graduated from Dixon High School. They are both employed by Kable News in Mount Morris. Mr. and Mrs. Modler are making their home in Leaf River.
