      Married McDuffee-Savage
Mr. S. Vere McDuffee and Miss Pearl Savage were united in marriage at 2 o’clock this afternoon at the residence of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Chas Keifer, in the third wasd (sp.), in the presence of a good sized company of relatives and friends. Rev. SA Douglas performed the ceremony. Mr. Fred Ward officiated as best man and Mrs. Ward as bride’s maid. The fine looking couple made a splendid appearance as they received the congratulations of those present. The ceremony was performed in the midst of very pretty decorations. Many choice presents were received as expressions of appreciation. A fine luncheon was served and the happy couple left on the afternoon train for their future home in Portland, where the groom has a responsible position, a young man of superior attainments. The bride is a graduate of Albany high school, a bright and popular young lady.
