Ms. Evelyn J. Allison of 202 Rock Knoll Drive in Greenwood and D.Z. Allison of Greenville announce the engagement of their daughter, Karla L., to Jonathan H. Brooks.
The bride-elect of Greenville is an instructor of pre-school education at Furman University. She graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg with a Masters of Education degree and from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. degree.
The bridegroom-elect of Greenville is the son of Thomas and Abbie Brooks of Perkasie, Pa. He is currently a student at the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg majoring in biochemistry. The wedding is planned for April 3 at Shannon Forest Presbyterian Church in Greenville.
