      MR. AND MRS. HOBSON P. WOODWARD — Barbara Ann Root and Hobson Peter Woodward were married May 10 in St Mary’s Church, Nantucket, Mass, by the Rev. Nathan Munsch of Latrobe, Pa.
       The bride is the daughter of Barbara K. Bardenett of Fort Myers, Fla, and Edward A Root of Syracuse The groom is the son of Mary S. Skinner of Pine City and V Powell Woodward of Cambridge, Mass.
       Amy R Johnson, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Andrea Root, niece of the bride, Colleen Sexton, Martha Meyers and Amy Bowen Jessica Root, niece of the bnde, was flower girl. Best man was Stewart Woodward, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Paul and Alan Root, brothers ot the bride, Michael McHone and Kevin Blanchard. Ring bearer was Gary John Root, nephew of the bride. Following the ceremonv the couple and congregation were led in procession by fiddler Dave Poland to a reception at Sherbtirne Hall Nantucket. The bride is employed by Castle Landscaping. The groom is the editor of Nantucket Magazine. The couple live in Nantucket.
