Miss Stearns Is Bride Of Clinton Soule, Jr.
In a ceremony at the Chapel of St. Patrick’s Church this morning, Miss Margaret Stearns became the bride of Clinton Soule, Jr. The single ring ceremony was performed and traditional wedding music was provided by Claude Noel, organist. The bride wore a suite in gray pin check with navy blue and white accessories and her flowers were pink roses in corsage. Miss Betty Burns of Auburn attending her as maid of honor wore an acque suite with white accessories ad a corsage of red roses. Edward Fahey of Lewinston was best man.
Following the ceremony an informal reception for members of the family and a few close friends was held at the home of the bridegroom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Soule at 127 Howe Street. Miss Nancy Weese presided over the gift display and was in charge of the guest book. Following a wedding trip to an undisclosed destination the couple will live at 37 Burbank Street.
Mrs. Soule, granddaughter of Albert Junkins of Lisbon, was educated in the schools of Lynn, Massachusetts. Mr. Soule was graduated from Lewiston High School and is employed at the Hill Divison of Bates Manufacturing Company. He is a member of the Lewiston Lodge of Elks.
