      Newlyweds Travel To Bahamas
       Following Florida and the Bahamas, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Irvin Bolen are makeing their first home in Freeport.
       The bride, the former Esther Marie Keister, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Passet of Orangeville. Mr. Bolen is the son of Harley Bolen of German Valley and Mrs. Flossie Bolen of Forreston.
       The couple exchanged marriage vows in Silver Creek Reformed Church of German Valley on Feb. 8. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. John J. Faas before a setting of white gladioli and red carnations.
       Nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Walter Fosha at the organ, and Mrs. Glen Bolender, the soloist.
       The bride, given in marriage by her stepfather, wore an Empire-styled gown of peau de soie accented with French lace and pearls at the bodice and hemline. Two matching bows secured her chapel-lenpth train, and she carried a cascade arrangement of white Sweetheart roses and red velvet hearts on a white lace Bible.
       Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Dallas Lamas. She wore an Empire-styled gown of chiffon over taffeta fashioned with a red bodice and white skirt and accented with red embroidered flowers. She wore a bouffant net headpiece and carried a bouquet of red feathered carnations accented by lace hearts.
       The bridesmaid, Mrs. Alden Fehr, wore a red brocade taffeta dress and a matching headpiece of bouffant net. She carried a bouquet identical to the matron of honor’s.
       Colleen Ruth Keister of Rockford, flower girl, wore a frock of chiffon over taffeta trimmed with nylon lace and styled with lace sleeves. She carried a white lace basket of red rose petals and wore a halo of red roses.
       Attending the groom were best man, Robert Bolen of Rockford, brother of the groom, groomsman, Stanley Dieken, and Donald Scott Keister as ringbearer. Alden Fehr and Donald Bolen ushered.
       A reception followed in the church parlors. The bride, a graduate of Orangeville High School, attended LaMolo School of Beauty Culture. She is employed as an inspector by Burgess Battery. Her husband was graduated from Forreston High School and served two years in the Army, stationed in Germany. He is employed by Illinois Water Treatment Co., of Rockford.
