      Le vingt février mille sept cens quatre vingt et un, fiançailles et publications duement faites du mariage de Pierre Briat praticien âgé de 24 ans, fils légitime à Pierre Briat laboureur et à Jeanne Dellac du village de la Martinie présente paroisse, et de Mathurine Freyssinet âgée de 22 ans, fille légitime à Jean Freyssinet, laboureur, et à défunte Margueritte Traverssat du village de Liat, de cette paroisse. Je soussigné ne s’étant découvert aucun empêchement ny opposition, après avoir interrogé les parties sur leurs mutuels consentement, leur ay donné la bénédiction nuptiale pendant la célébration de la Sainte Messe, en présence de Jean Freyssinet père de l’épouse et de Pierre Freyssinet son frère, de Pierre Briat père de l’époux et Louis Tettard son cousin et plusieurs autres leurs parens ; l’époux a signé et non l’épouse, le père et le frère de l’épouse ont signé aussi avec nous et non les autres témoins pour ne savoir de ce requis par nous.
