Harry M. Hazelrigg, 74, of 5350 E. William Street Road died 5 a.m. .Wednesday (Sept. 3, 1980) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Brintlinger Pershing Funeral Home with visitation after 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery. Mr. Hazelrigg was born in Winchester, son of Delos and Ollie May Hazelrigg. He was a member of Central Christian Church, was retired as a butcher from A&P Grocery Stores in Decatur and was later employed as a carpenter. He married Margaret Bowlby. Surviving are his stepson, Paul F. Burgett of Kingman, Ariz.; stepdaughters, Mrs. George (Catherine) Swain of Chelsea, Iowa; Ruth Sloan of Decatur; brother, Thomas J. of Decatur; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Peterson, H. M. Hazelrigg Wed
Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Peterson announce the marriage of their daughter, Dorothy Laberta, to Harry M. Hazelrigg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Delos M. Hazelrigg, 1297 West Decatur street. Rev. Francis E. Cooper performed the ceremony at 8:45 p.m., Wednesday in First Baptist church. Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Joynt were attendants. Mrs. Joynt is the former Lucille Veech. The bride wore a crinkle sill crepe dress of black trimmed in white. She carried a chiffon handkerchief that her mother and her three sisters carried for their marriage ceremonies. Mrs. Hazelrigg attended Decatur high school, took a business course afterward, and is an employee at present of the Nurdahl dry cleaning department of Block and Kuhl’s. Mr. Hazelrigg attended Winchester high school. He is manager of a meat and grocery market on West Grand avenue The couple are at home with the bride’s parents in 341 Burtschi court.
