    1. [S4] Obituary.
The death of Marjorie Robertson of Saint John, cherished wife of the late Charles Robertson, occurred on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born on December 17, 1927 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Winslow and Florence (Moore) Greer.
Marjorie was kind hearted and treasured the times spent with those she loved. Prior to retiring, she had a long teaching career in various locations, which included Prince Charles School in Saint John as well as schools in Gagetown and Gaspereau Forks. In former years, together with her husband, Marjorie volunteered with Lakewood Headstart. She always loved being in the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, gardening, hiking and times spent at her camps in Robertson’s Point and Tynemouth Creek.
Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Charlie Greer (Vonna) of Tynemouth Creek; sister, Gloria Currie (Hugh) of Bathurst, sister-in-law, Faye Greer of Plaster Rock; as well as six nieces, two nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son in infancy, Randy and brother, Norman.
Marjorie’s family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of the Loch Lomond Villa. The exceptional care and friendship that was provided to Marjorie and the support shown towards her family will never be forgotten.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation. However, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will take place at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM.
