Germaine (Bedard) McConnachie, 89, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Mary Immaculate Healthcare in Lawrence. Born in Pelham, N.H., Germaine was the daughter of Arthur and Georgiana (Rondeau) Bedard. Upon graduation from beautician school, she worked for many years as a hair dresser in Methuen.
Predeceased by her husband, James McConnachie; and her daughter, Brenda Findeisen, Germaine is survived by her son, Arthur and his wife Donna McConnachie; and her grandchildren, Nichole and Christina Findeisen, Ruby, Crystal and Bonnie Jean McConnachie.
Mrs. McConnachie is also survived by her siblings, Raymond Bedard of Methuen, Roderick Bedard, Arthur and his wife Therese Bedard, Ronnie and his wife Bobbie, Bedard, Rena Cayer, Jackie and her husband Phil Blanchette all of Pelham, N.H., Carmen Nical of Lawrence and Muriel and her husband Arthur Paradis of Canterbury, N.H.; and her sister-in-law, Monica Bedard of Pelham, N.H. Germaine was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Rene, Alcide and Franklin (Skee) Bedard, Emile and his wife Mabel Bedard, Lorraine and her husband Peter Bergeron, Gertrude Dionne, and Simone and her husband Donald Greenwood.
