MILBURY, ZELDA RUTH. –
Zelda Ruth Milbury of Bedell passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born February 12, 1931. Zelda led an active life farming along side her husband Merle for over 40 years retiring only after he passed away. She has lived in Bedell in the same house for over 50 years surrounded by family and a host of close friends and neighbors. Zelda dearly loved her grandchildren, loved to laugh, loved to garden, loved to travel and had a zest for life. She was a long standing and active member of the MacKenzie Corner United Church as well as the Bedell Women’s Institute, enjoying many quilting bees hosted by the WI. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a sister Glenna Williamson, brother in laws; Ray Parnet, Clint Barrett and Eugene Milbury. She is survived by her children; Mark (Pam) Milbury of Bedell, Cindy (Wendell Black) Milbury of Saint John, Mary Lee Milbury of Saint John; grandchildren Marcee Milbury of Virginia, Michael Milbury, Matthew Milbury, Mitchell Milbury all of Bedell, sisters; Ruby Parent of Ottawa, ON, Grace Barrett of Oshawa, ON, Nita (Jack) Hillman of Connecticut, brother Wendell Harper of Moncton, Brother in laws; Perley Williamson of Woodstock, John (Dorothy) Milbury of Woodstock, sister in law Aileen Milbury of Woodstock, several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Culberson Funeral Home 188 Connell Street, Woodstock with visiting hours on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at the Culberson Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Beverly Brazier officiating. Interment will be in the MacKenzie Corner Cemetery. Donations to the MacKenzie Corner Cemetery, the Mackenzie Corner United Church or donor’s choice would be appreciated.
