Bernyce K. Bushee – GREENFIELD –
Bernyce K. Ordesky Bushee, 91, of 237 High Street, died Sunday, March 20, 2011 at the Cozy Corner Nursing Home in Sunderland, following an illness. Born on March 5, 1920 in Orange, she was a daughter of Sigmond and Pauline Banulis Ordesky and grew up in Orange, graduating from Orange High in 1938. Bernyce was married to Herbert Bushee in 1951 and have enjoyed 60 years together. They had lived in Orange and moved to Greenfield in 1965. Bernyce had worked at the former Torrington Company in Orange for a number of years and was also a member of St. Mary’s Church in Orange for over 40 years. She was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Bushee of Greenfield; daughter, Sandra Boutall of Orange; son, Dennis Goslin of Worcester; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. Bernyce was predeceased by a sister, Stashya Salwak and half brothers, Charlie Belsky and Francis Belsky.
There are no calling hours. A Memorial service will be held on March 31, 2011 at 10 a.m., at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, with Fr. William Lunney of St. Mary’s Church officiating. Interment will be in South Cemetery, Orange. Donations are suggested to St. Mary’s Endowment Fund, 19 Congress St., Orange, MA 01364.
