      TIFFANY, Marilyn Joan (Age 83) — Marilyn passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on May 19, 2016, surrounded by family and close friends. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on January 25, 1933 to Leila and Clarence Oas.
       She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Lloyd D. Tiffany, sister Eleanor Baxter, loving children Ruth (Sam) McElfish, David L. (Oanh) Tiffany, Mary Leila Tiffany, and Christine (Michael) Christiansen, she is also survived by her grandchildren; Corrina, Cassandra, Carissa, Caleb, Talena, Minh, Leah, Michael, Amber, Angela, Savanah and Shelbe, along with eight great-grandchildren and two nephews Timothy and Bruce. She is preceded in death by her parents and two children, Luella Anne (LuAnne) Tiffany and Paul S. (Denice) Tiffany.
       Marilyn worked at Western Electric, General Dynamics and spent many years at the VA Hospital as a ward manager of Ward 3. She married Lloyd on July 8, 1950 in Igloo, SD. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in July last year. She was very active in many churches throughout her life. She also played the piano, sang solos and duets with Lloyd. She was part of the "Tiffany Trio" with Lloyd and his mother. They were featured on a Christian radio broadcast in the Dakotas in the late 1940s. Marilyn was her son, David’s, first Sunday School teacher, and taught hundreds of other children for many, many years. She was a long time member of the Spokane Valley Nazarene Church and was involved in many bible study groups. Marilyn and Lloyd were teachers for many years in the MOPS (Mothers of Preschool Children) at the Spokane Valley church. She was very devoted to her beliefs and her service to her Lord in all ways.
       Viewing will be held Wednesday, May 25 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Thursday, May 26 from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. A Remembrance Service will be held on Friday, May 27 at 1:00 PM at Spokane Valley Church of the Nazarene, 15515 E. 20th Ave., Spokane Valley, WA 99037. Those who wish to make memorial contributions are invited to do so through the Compassionate Ministries in care of Spokane Valley Church of the Nazarene.
