      Services for Bernard L. Bigham, 67, of 3902 Ovid Ave., a lifelong resident of Des Moines, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Bigham, a retired waiter, died of emphysema and pneumonia complications Thursday at Iowa Methodist Hospital after an extended illness. He was a veteran of World War I and II. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a sister, Mrs. Marie Munday of Des Moines and a brother, Charles of Des Moines.
