      Daniel Curtis Weekley, 54, of Huntington went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 8, 2001. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, August 11, 2001, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Paul Meadows and the Rev. James Jobe. Burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Garden, Huntington. He was born October 5, 1946, in Putnam, a son of Dorothy Irene Thacker Wooten of Rainelle, W.Va, and the late Joseph Weekley. He was an employee of BASF. He was also preceded in death by two twin grandchildren, Cara Jean Lucas and Tabitha Renee Lucas.
       He is survived by his wife, Renda Meadows Weekley; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Eugene Hayes of Milton, Valerie and James Stapleton of Huntington and Ellen Marie and David Lucas of Huntington; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Candie Weekley of Huntington; one sister, Rebecca Boese of Winfield; one brother, Joe Weekley of Barboursville; his stepmother, Loretta Weekley of Ona; a half sister, Michelle Spurlock of Ona; a half brother, Shawn Weekley of Ona; and 12 grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
