      Fitzpatrick, Lulu Ellen — Funeral services for Mrs. William (Lulu) Fitzpatrick, formerly of the Dundas area, were held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 19 at the Bierman Mortuary in Northfield. The Rev. Donald Field officiated and burial was made in Groveland Cemetery. Mrs. Fitzpatrick, 84, died Wednesday, June 16 at the home of her daughter, Kathryn Fitzpatrick in Muncie Ind. She had lived with her daughter since 1969. Lulu Fitzpatrick was born on Jan. 22, 1887 in Dundas to John and Mary Cowden. After her marriage to William Fitzpatrick, they lived in Illinois until the death of Mr. Fitzpatrick in 1927. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a graduate of Mankato State Normal School and had taught for several years at the Laura Baker School in Northfield. Survivors include her daughter, Kathryn, a teacher at Ball state University in Muncie, and several nieces and nephews.
