    2. [S4] Notice nécrologique.
      Mrs. Sarah J. Hovis, aged 81 years, died at 2:45 o’clock Monday afternoon at the home of her son, D. M. Hovis, at New Franklin, after a ten days’ illness with complications. She was a member of the Lutheran church at Grindstone Hill.
       She is survived by the following children: D. M., whose home she died, Aaron L. and Mrs. Maggie Sumers, of Chambersburg, one sister, Mrs. Laura Sellers, of Iowa, and one brother, D. M., Rowe, of Elizabeth, N. J.; also three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
       The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon, leaving the home at 2 o’clock, services and burial at Grindstone Hill.
