DECATUR —
O. Margaret Hazelrigg, 87, formerly of Decatur died 4:45 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 21, 2000) in the home of her daughter in Beecher City. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in North Fork Cemetery with the Rev. Bill 0. Margaret Hazelrigg Wessel officiating. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in J.J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in North Fork Cemetery will be next to her husband of 28 years, Harry Hazelrigg. Memorials: Lincolnland Hospice, 5837 W. Park Drive Suite 4, Charleston, IL 61920.
Mrs. Hazelrigg was born March 13, 1913, in Olney, Richland County, the daughter of George and Mina Bowlby. She retired from A&P Tea Co. as a checker and was a member of Central Christian Church. She married Paul D. Burgett in 1932. To this union three children were born.
She then married Harry M. Hazelrigg July 15, 1952. He preceded her in death in September 1980. She married Frank F. Boneham in June 1982. He preceded her in death in March 1999.
Surviving are her daughters, Ruth Havener of Beecher City; Catherine (husband George) Swaim of Chelsea, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Audrey Burgett of Kingman, Ariz.; six grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren; two great-step-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, sister, Evelyn Coffee, formerly of Cerro Gordo; brothers, Marshall and Victor Bowlby, both of Decatur; Robert Bowlby of Maroa. She was preceded in death by her husbands, son, Paul F. Burgett, and brother, George Bowlby.
