Dominic Joseph Buonarosa Jr. (1930 - 2024) – Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother
Dom Buonarosa, 93, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2024, with his beloved wife Carol by his side.
Born in Woburn, Massachusetts, on August 19, 1930, son of the late Dominic Buonarosa Sr. and the late Amelia DeVito, he graduated from Woburn High School. Dominic proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement, Dominic, a Master Electrician, owned and operated Dom’s Electric. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 100 in Pelham, New Hampshire. He was an avid hunter and loved being outdoors, gardening, and making sauce from his tomatoes every fall. After retiring, he developed a passion for making wine and homemade limoncello. He is survived by his wife, Carol Buonarosa, daughter Lauralee Zahareas, daughter-in-law, Sharon Goodwin, and brother, Emelio “Sonny” Buonarosa. He is also survived by his grandchildren Shawn Buonarosa and his wife Fernanda; Jill Fletcher and her husband Kyle; Stephanie Zahareas; Molly Zahareas; and Jake Zahareas, as well as his seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his three sons, Dominic J. Buonarosa III, Michael Buonarosa, and Peter Buonarosa, all of Pelham, New Hampshire. Friends may attend his Memorial Visitation on Thursday March 21, 2024, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
