      HICKMAN, JAMES DOUGLAS -– The death of James Douglas Hickman, age 75, husband of the late Joan (Downs) Hickman of Wickham, NB, occurred at the Great Oaks Special Care Home, on April 7, 2009. He was born on June 29, 1933, in Saint John, NB, the son of the late Harold and Nettie (Craft) Hickman.
       Jim is survived by his sons Richard and Sheila Hickman of Wickham and Mark and Theresa Hickman of Knightville; grandchildren Amelia, Marissa, Jonathan, Emerson, Jordan, Curtis, Meghan, Alysha, Angella; great granddaughter Sophia; brother Francis and Lana; sisters Shirley and Bruce Peacock, Barb and George Nixon, Elsie Craft, Norma and Gordon Bond, Winnifred Goguen, Charlotte Hickman; sisters-in-law Joan Hickman and Betty Hickman; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Matthew; brothers Raymond, Lloyd, Don; brothers-in-law Bob Craft and Frank Goguen.
       He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12 to 2 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel, Norton, NB, at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2009.
