Burr Jr., born April 25, 1977 taken July 8, 2012 from a tragic motor cycle accident.  He leaves behind his parents Patricia and Gerjan Gerrits of Clinton and Robert Sr., and Faye Burr of Clinton; sister Elizabeth Burr Rountree of Clinton; brother Travis Burr of North Stonington; step sisters Lynn Vece of Norwich and Tina Macero of Madison; children Damen, Carlee and Aydan Burr; grandparents Joanne Wilcox of Maine and Dwaine Wilcox Sr., of East Haddam as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He touched so many lives with his irreplaceable personality and to know him was to love him. His infectious laugh, smile and twinkle in his eye will be greatly missed by all.  A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday July 14, at the Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook. Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 until the time of service at 2pm. A repast will follow at the American Legion. Burial will be private. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, with checks made payable to Robert Burr Jr. Children’s Fund at Liberty Bank, 8 East Main St., Clinton, CT 06413.
