Marion Marguerite Boenker Welker came joyfully into this world on November 9, 1924, in St. Charles, Missouri, and left this world on August 14, 2021, at Villages of St. Peters in St. Peters, Missouri, at the age of 96. Marion was the oldest of three children born to Justin and Alvina Boenker. Marion leaves behind her daughters Shirley Keef (Charles deceased) and Karen Tweedy (Cliff deceased) and son Gary Welker (Yvonne); grandchildren Dawn Henningsen, Tracie Skinner, David (Becky Jasper) Skinner, Jodi (The late Rich) Powell, Jeremy Simpkins, Angela (Chris) Wessel, and Michelle (Mike) Adams; great-grandchildren Andrew Henningsen, Matthew Henningsen, Jacob Barrow, Nicholas Skinner, Joshua Simpkins, Evan Wilcox, Owen Wessel, Xander Adams, Scarlett Adams, and Stella Adams; as well as beloved nieces and nephews. Marion was preceded in death by her husband Omar Welker, daughter Darlene Welker, parents Justin and Alvina Boenker, sister Virginia (The late Eddie) Heppermann, brother Gerald Boenker , and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Marion enjoyed writing poems, going to garage sales and selling at Wentzville flea market, working on the farm, and planning parties for her family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and then Immanuel Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes and Ronald McDonalds House
