    1. [S4] Obituary.
      The funeral of J. Hanford Lloyd of McDonald’s Corner took place from his late residence on Monday last. Mr. Lloyd had been stricken down with consumption during the last year, and his end was expected. Mr. Lloyd, better known as Capt. Lloyd, has for the last number of years been engaged in the coasting trade. The deceased was twice married, his first wife being Miss Amanda Straight, a well known school teacher and daughter of Amos Straight of Cambridge, and his last wife the widow of the late David Gilchrist. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. M. Macdonald, assisted by Rev. J. Bennet Anderson, evangelist.
