      STERLING — Daniel L. Snapp, 56, of Sterling, died January 24, 2020. He was employed at Dana Corp. for 33 years.
       Dan was born on March 13, 1963, in Oregon, IL to Denis Snapp and Kathleen Boyden Pursell. He married Nancy Stevens on August 2, 1985. Dan’s first love was his family. He enjoyed riding his harley, being outside and visiting with his friends.
       Survivors include his wife, Nancy Snapp; one daughter, Shawna Snapp; one granddaughter, Danielle Snapp; his mother, Kathleen Pursell; two sisters, Diana (Mark Stanley) Snapp and Debbie (Monte Cox) Snapp.
       He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Snapp; and one brother, Denny Snapp.
       Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling. Memorial service will follow visitation at 6 p.m., with Reverend Jeff Coester, of the Big Red Church, officiating. A memorial has been established.
