      James Thomas "Bones" Donohue Jr. 79, born on October 31st, 1937 passed away on Saturday, September 9th, 2017. Survivors include beloved wife of 52 years, Judith A. Donohue (neé Giesler), son James Thomas Donohue III (Tracy), daughter Ann Donohue Chapin (Michael), son Timothy M. Donohue (Shelly) of Gig Harbor, WA, son Patrick David Donohue (Stacy), sister Margaret Spaulding (Dean), brother Michael Donohue, sister-in-laws Peggy Schmelzle (Michael), Debbie Lawler (Kevin), Diane Giesler (Dave), Barbara Giesler (Jack), Judy Giesler (Jim), grandchildren Jake, Taryn, MacClayn, Andrew, Garrett, Sarah, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great- great- nieces, great-great-nephews , cousins and friends. Ja mes was preceded in death by his father James Thomas Donohue Sr., mother Imogene Donohue, step-mother Lois Donohue and brother-in-law Wally Giesler. "Bones" pitched for the St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Angels and Minnesota Twins. His love for b aseball continued throughout his lifetime. Services: Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Pillar on Saturday, Sept. 23rd at 10:00 a.m. with a 10:30 a.m. Mass to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to CBC or a charity of their choice.

      Donohue-Giesler Wedding at Church
      MISS JUDITH ANN GIESLER became the bride of James Thomas Donohue yesterday at St. Luke the Evangelist Church. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. James Julius, the Rev. Richard Neumann and the Rev. Thomas Hederman. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter John Giesler, 6918 Kingsbury boule- var. University City. Mr. Donohue is the son of Mrs. Imogens Donohue, 9669 Hardwick court, St. Louis county, and James Donohue, 150 St. Edwards lane, Florissant. Mrs. Andrew Jj. Signorelli was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Thomas M. Chura, Mrs. Joseph Epstein, Charleston, S. C, and Miss Margaret Ellen Giesler, sister of the bride. Another sister, Deborah Patricia Giesler, was flower girl. David West was best man. Ushers were the bride’s brothers, David and Walter Giesler; the bridegroom’s brother, Michael Donohue, his uncle, Edward Donohue, and Thomas Buckley. After a wedding trip to California, the couple will live in St. Louis county.
