Hydro Ottawa Retired Suddenly amongst friends while moose hunting in Northern Ontario, Ed passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2005.  He was happily and so perfectly married to Pat for twenty-seven years, and was the proud and supportive father of Kate, Jen and John. Son of the late Elmer and Eleanor Muldoon. Adored brother of Shirley (Gerry Nigra) and Audrey (late Mike Hanniman). Model uncle to many nieces and nephews. Son-in-law of Harvey and the late Frances Beardmore. Admired brother-in-law of Richard (Marianne), Anne (Jim), Carol (Garry), Diane (Derek) and the late Ian. Throughout his life, he effortlessly created a lasting impression upon everyone he met. He often became the subtle pillar for many groups of people.  The visitation will be on Wednesday and Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Homes, 235 Kent St. Funeral Friday, October 21 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Basilica. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Ottawa Heart Institute, 40 Ruskin Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1Y 4W7, would be appreciated.
