Grove F. Terwilliger, 80, died Sunday in Nebraska City, Neb. Mr, Terwilliger is survived by many relatives and friends in the Green Springs area and was a frequent visitor there. He was born in Toledo to Carl and Alice (Schroeder) Terwilliger, In 1928, the family moved to Nebraska City where he attended school. He married Kathleen “Nan” (Walker-Wade) on April 23, 1948, and she is deceased.
A World War II U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Terwilliger was a pharmacist and owned and operated Grove’s Drug Store in Rossford for 30 years. He then worked for Food-Town Pharmacies until retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Ohio Pharmaceutical Association, Toledo Drug Club and the Toledo Zoological Society. Surviving are daughters Elizabeth Bayshore and Susan Pollex of Maumee and Nancy Roth of Delta; companion Charlotte Bohl of Nebraska City; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His parents and stepfather George C. Eicher, sister Irene Nye and a granddaughter are deceased.
Visitation memorial service: Begins at 2 p.m., Monday, Berstick-er-Scott Funeral Home, Toledo, with services at 7 p.m.
