Mr. Stanley “Bud” Terwilliger, 68, of 4 Town Garden Drive, Liverpool, died Saturday in St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center after a long illness.
He was born in Minoa and had resided in Liverpool for the last 20 years. In 1975, he retired an an employee of Upstate Medical Center. Mr. Terwilliger was a member of the Liverpool First United Methodist Church. He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War 11, where he received the American Services and the Good Conduct medals. He was a member of the Marathon American Legion, Post 617.
Mr. Terwilliger is survived by his wife, Wava; a son, Gary F. of Baldwin, Long Island; a stepson, Darryl Cook, Sr. of Plattsburgh; a daughter, Susanne Mims of Orlando, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Loretta Holl of Marathon, and Adela Phoenix of Homer; his father, Floyd, of Minoa; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth (John D.) Griffith; Mrs. Amina Jane Bauer, both of Eastwood, NY; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11AM Tuesday at the Maurer Funeral hoome, 300 Second St., with the Rev. Dr. Milton T. Jefferson officiating. Burial is in Pine Plains Cemetery in North Manlius. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM Monday at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to the Liverpool Fire Department Ambulance Fund.
