      Ruth Eleanor Skinner April, 1907 Feb.20, 1994
       Ruth Eleanor Skinner, 86, of Salem died Sunday in her home. She was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., and married Charles N. Skinner. She and her husband owned and operated a nursery and were known for their roses. Her husband died in 1962, and she moved to Salem in 1978 from Texas. She loved to garden. Survivors include her niece, Alexandra Couert of Salem. In keeping with her wishes, no formal services will be held. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Rigdon-Ransom mortuary. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s association in care of the mortuary.
