      Ruth Nelson, Nov. 30. 1916 Feb. 23. 1995 Former Cedaredge resident
      Ruth Marian Skinner Nelson died of natural causes Thursday in Good Samaritan Center in Boulder. She was 78. Graveside services will be at Cedaredge Cemetery. Mrs. Nelson had been a teacher, artist and musician. She was born Nov. 30. 1916. to Elmer E. and Elfie M. Gobble Skinner in Delta. She graduated from Stephen’s Women’s College in Missouri and received her teaching degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. She married James A.S. Nelson on Julv 3. 1939. in Greeley. He died in 1975. Mrs. Nelson lived in Cedaredge until moving to Boulder in 1991. She was a member of the Sage Dome Water Color Society and Rebekah Lodge and served on the library board in Cedaredge.
       Surviving are two daughters. Lorelei Schott of Boulder and Cheryl Matthews of Derby.
       Kan. Crist Mortuary in Boulder was in charge of arrangements.
