      Word was received on Thursday that Private Ernest Leslie Jackson, of the 8th Australian Light Hors, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Jackons, Nanneella Estate, who enlisted in September, 1914, has been killed in the recent fighting in Palestine. The gallant young soldier was only about 22 years of age. Another son was recently returned wounded from France.
