CLIFFORD E. CROCKER — There passed away at Western Kings Memorial Hospital, on Nov 12, one of Weston’s most esteemed citizens in the person of Clifford E. Crocker. He was 51 years of age, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Melbourne Crocker, Woodworth Road, and was a lifelong resident of that place.
Leaving to mourn his loss are his widow, formerly Miss Helen Chute, of South Berwick; three sons, Gerald, Bert and George, and one daughter, Betty, all at home; also one sister, Mrs. Percy Foster, of South Waterville and three brothers, Lee in Massachusetts, Charles in Maine, and Edward in Saskatchewan.
The funeral service, which was largely attended, was held on Sunday afternoon at his late residence and was conducted by Rev. W. E. Cholerton. Members of the Berwick Baptist choir furnished the music which included the hymn, "The Old Ruggled Cross", a favorite of the deceased. Interment was at Berwick Cemetery amid masses of beautiful flowers.
