CHUTE, John Burton (1947-2004) Died suddenly on Saturday, October 23, 2004 following a brief illness in hospital. An exceptional friend and spectacular human being. John opened his heart and his home to all who came to Chuteville. He is survived by his loving wife and biggest fan Lori Ross and her family, and his soul brother Doug Harper. John will be greatly missed by his Chute and Hancock/Kerber cousins, his extended family including the Tassies, Beharriells and Spencers, the cottagers and residents of Big Cedar Point, and all those who regularly attended 37 years of the May 8th ritual weekend.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Friday, October 29, 2004 at 3 p.m. John will be buried with his parents at Park Lawn Cemetery, at a later date.
