CHUTE, ROBERT ELMER Sergeant in the Royal Canadian Air Force, former constable with the o.p.p. passed away at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Saturday June 29th, 2002 in his 81st year. Robert beloved husband of the late Irene Chute née Dimmock. Son of the late Vernon and Mary Chute. Loving father of Lynne McBride, Don Davidson and his wife Lynda all of Orillia and John Davidson and his wife Lynnell of Alberta, also father of Robert, William and Donna. Dear grandfather of Dale Robert McBride, Stephen, Michael and his wife Christa, Robyn and Darren Davidson, Lisa and Andrew. Great grandfather of Locklyn and Tucker. Brother of Dorothy and her husband Emmerson Purchase of Ottawa, Gordon Chute and his wife Jean of Arizona.  Predeceased by his brother Frank Survived by his sister in law, Margaret Chute of Toronto.  The family will receive friends at the Doolittle-Carson Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday July 4th, 2002 at 1 oclock. Interment to follow at St. Andrews St. James Cemetery, Orillia.
