      William Franklyn Chute passed away suddenly at his home on Friday May 19th, 2017 in his 67th year. Born in Toronto March 31st, 1950. Son of Doris Edmunds (Ashby) and Robert Chute. Brother to Donna and Robert (pre deceased). Remembered fondly by his niece Lisa (Jeff), A.J. (Angela), great nephew Carson, Aunt Gladys and cousins Kim and Richard. Billy will also be remembered by many other family members both here in Canada and in the United States.
       Billy was a Great supporter and fan of local sports teams. He was active with the Special Olympics as well as The Terry Fox Run.
       The family would like to thank the staff at the A.C.T. House for all their support, the Simcoe Funeral Home (Pat) and a Special thanks to Peggy Wainman and family. A celebration of Billy’s Life will be held Thursday June 8th, from 11:30 a.m. until l:00 p.m. at the A.C.T. House, 76 Nottawasaga Street in Orillia.
       Memorial donations in Billy’s honor may be made through Simcoe Funeral Home to either the Canadian Mental Health Association (North Simcoe A.C.T.), Ontario Special Olympics or to The Terry Fox Run. Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.simcoefuneralhome.ca
