      TUPPER — September 22, 1971, Havelock G., aged 83 years, beloved husband ot Mrs. Edith Tupper, Central Park Lodge, 1813 9th Street S.W., passed away at the Glenmore Auxiliary Hospital following a brief illness. Besides his wife he is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Veneia Goodvin, Vernon, B.C. and a son, Glenn H. Tupper, Ottawa, Ontario, three grandchildren, also three stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary Beckett, Vancouver, B.C., Mrs. A. (Jean) Fouids. Toronto and Mrs. W. F. (Betty) Milner, Calgary. He was predeceased by his first wife Tracey in 1964 and also by a grandson Alfred Glenn Tupper in 1967. Born at Kings-port, Nova Scotia he came west in 1902 to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and in 1915 moved to Wayne, Alberta, where he owned and operated the Rosedeer Coal Mines until moving to Calgary in 1933 and was employed with Dominion Bridge Co. Ltd. until his retirement. He was a member of the Golden Age Club. Services at LEYDEN’S "Chapel of Remembrance" Saturday 10:30 a.m. Rev. Herman J. Aaftink of the Church of the Truth officiating. Cremation.

      TUPPER FLEMING
       A pretty wedding took plane in the Third Avenue Methodist church yesterday afternoon at one-thirty o’clock. The bride. Miss Ida C. Fleming, was married to Mr. Havelock G. Tupper, by Rev. C. W. Brown, in the presence of a few relatives und friends. Mr. Francis Stevenson played the wedding march, nnd Miss Olive Birllett sang sweetly ’’Beloved It Is Morn.’ The bride’s gown was of rose silk erepe de chine, with baby Irish lace and touches ot green velvet. She wore a white hat fucud with crepe, white wings, and a large mother o’ pearl buckle. A wedding supper was held at the home of Mrs. Roe Archibald, Farnum Block. Sir. and Mrs. Tupper left on a honeymoon to be spent at Bariff, the bride travelling in a navy blue suit and tailored hat. They will reside at Drumhellar, Alberta.
