DELBERT B. HENSLEY — Business owner
Delbert “Del” B. Hensley, 64, of Upland died of cancer Saturday at his home. Hensley was a native of Springfield, Mo., and lived in Upland for 55 years. Active in real estate, construction and land development, he owned and operated the Andel Development Corp. He graduated from Clare-mont McKenna College, was a World War II Army veteran and was a member of Upland Brethren in Christ Church.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; a son, Richard of Rancho Cucamonga; a daughter, Delia McHenry of Redlands; his father, Edgar Hensley of Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Bernice Iddings of Arcadia; and four grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. today at Draper Memorial Chapel, 811 N. Mountain Ave., Ontario. Entombment will be at Bellevue Mausoleum. The family suggests donations to the Hensley Memorial Fund, co Brethren in Christ Church, 845 W. Arrow Highway, Upland, Calif. 91786.
