Born in Berwick Sept. 25, 1886, the son of George S. and Martha (Quint) Jackson, he has been emplovod for many years at the North Berwick Woolen Mill and moved to Moody three years ago. He was an member of Wells Grange and owned a store at Moody Beach. Mr. Jackson leaves his wife, Mrs. Margie Jackson; two sons, Woodrow S. of Wakefield. Mass., and George N. Jackson of Cambridge, Mass.; two daughters, Mrs. Vesta Hardy of Kittery and Mrs. Catherine Gagnon of Somersworth; one step-daughter, Mrs. Roberta Castergine of Wells; one sister, Mrs. -Mia Morrill of Portland; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
