Delmont S. Robbins
ROCHESTER —
Delmont Snow Robbins Sr., 67, of Pineview Trailer Park, died Tuesday in his home after a long illness.
Mr. Robbins was born in Lebanon, Maine, Sept. 11, 1917, a son of the late Ovid D. and Zueda (Snow) Robbins. He resided many years in Florida and had lived the past 18 years in Rochester.
Before his retirement, Mr. Robbins worked at Thompson Center Arms Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Inda (Berry) Robbins of Rochester; two sons, Elvington Robbins of Farmington and Delmont S. Robbins Jr. of Litchfield; three daughters, Nancy Reiger of San Diego, Calif., Permelia French of South Lebanon, Maine, and Sharon Ayala of Austin, Texas; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Muriel Stackpole of Lebanon, Maine; a brother, Ashmont Robbins of North Berwick, Maine; nieces, nephews and an aunt.
The Edgerly Funeral Home, Rochester, is in charge of arrangements.
