David Lloyd Glover, a resident of Worthington St., Little Current, passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre on Sunday, December 29, 1996 at the age of 74 years. He was born in New Brunswick, son of the late Walter and Margaret (Nelson) Glover. David had owned and operated Acme Motors in Little Current for a number of years until his retirement. He was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church; Full Gospel Business Men International; Gideon Bible society; and for pastimes, enjoyed his camp, fishing, boating and traveling. Dearly loved husband of Margaret Arlene (Patrick) Glover; and loving father of Marlene Ridgewell, husband Doug of Halifax; Jane Drolet, husband Reg of Little Current; and Larry Glover, spopuse (sic) Linda Kelly of Sheguiandah. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Kelly Lyn Gilbertson and her husband Calvin of St. Joseph Island; Patrick Glover and his friend Nancy of West Bay; Abbie and Thomas Drolet of Little Current; proud great grandfather of Kaitie, Lindsay and Zachary. Dear brother of Garnet Glover of Kamloops, B.C. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Ethel, Gertrude, Annette, and brothers Clarence, Ozzie, Harry, Marvin and Jack. Friends may call a the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Little Current on Monday after 7 p.m. and on Tuesday 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the Church on Tuesday, December 31, 1996 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Richard White, Rev. William Stadnyk and Canon Gerry Smith officiating. If so desired, donations to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, the Manitoulin Health Centre or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
