      FREEMAN – Paul Edward,89, of Harmony, Queens, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, July 28th, 2011.
       Born in Harmony Mills, Queens, he was a son of the late Edward J. and Agnes (Smith) Freeman. Paul, along with his father and brother, owned and operated the Caledonia Hardwood Company for a number of years before he became a clerk for the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission from where he retired. He was a member of the Caledonia United Baptist Church, Mechanics Lodge #78, A.F.&A.M. Caledonia and Rossignol Chapter #6, RAM.
       He is survived by his daughters Aileen of Maynard, Mass., Ann (Murray) Lohnes of Harmony., his son Harold (Cheryl) of Harmony. 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His sisters Ellen Smith and Alma Laird, both of Bridgewater, Marjorie Cushing of Caledonia, Geraldine “Geri” (Chris) Nolan of Mahone Bay. His brother Raymond (Eleanor) of Harmony.
       He was predeceased by his wife Olive (Osmond) and his sister Mary.
