      Berwick - Mrs. Evelyn Jefferson, 72, of Berwick and Bridgewater, died Thursday in Dawson Memorial Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Alice (Rollins) Pelton. She was a member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter Nilda (Mrs. Donald Chute), Bridgewater; two sons, Glendon, Oaklyn, N.J., and Blaine, Bramalea, Ont.; a brother Max, Encino, Calif., and 10 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harold V., a son, a daughter, a brother Vernon, and a sister Nilda (Mrs. Edgar Hall). The body is in H.C. Lindsay’s Funeral Home, Berwick. Service will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Berwick Baptist Church.
