      WOLFVILLE - Mrs. Leslie Fairn, 82, of Wolfville, died June 7, 1982 in Menlo Park, California.
       Born in Lynn, Mass., she was the former Ethel Elizabeth Hutchinson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hutchinson. She was the wife of the late Leslie R. Fairn, respected Nova Scotian architect.
       Surviving are two sons, Laird Leslie, Albany and Halifax; R. Hugh Douglas, Grand Pre; three daughters, Ardith Patricia (Mrs. Kingsford Jones), Atherton, Calif.; Laura Shirley (Mrs. Kenneth Benedict), Palo Alto, Calif,; Sylvia-Anne (Mrs. Robert MacNeil), Atherton, Calif.; a sister Mrs. Eva Hobby, Swampscott, Mass; a brother Alfred, Cape, Mass.; 23 grand children and 11 great-grandchildren.
       She was predeceased by her husband Leslie R., a brother Reginald, and a sister, May.
       The body was at H.C. Lindsay’s Funeral Home, Wolfville, Funeral was June 11 in Wolfville Baptist Church, Rev. Neil Price officiated, with burial in Willow Bank Cemetery, Wolfville.
