    1. [S4] Obituary.
      Paul H. Johnson 78 of Bella Vista AR died Tuesday, August 14, 2001 at his home. He was bom March, 25 1923 in Bowling Green, OH to the late Charles Edward and Hattie M. Creager Johnson.
       He and his wife Jeanne moved to Bella Vista in 1983 from Grandview, MO. He was a member of the Highlands United Methodist Church Bella Vista Crime Watch Bella Vista POA Board for three years and the 9-Hole Golf Association. He served in the US Air Force during WWII. After the war he worked as a flight instructor and corporate pilot. He then was an American Airlines pilot for several years and later worked as an air traffic controller for FAA in Olathe, KS.
       He is survived by his wife of 54 years Jeanne Johnson of Bella Vista, AR, three sons, David L. (Estelle) Johnson of Salina, KS; Tom (Emily) Johnson of St Louis, MO; and John (Nancy) Johnson of Owasso, OK; one sister Joyce Williams of Ball-stone, NY; six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
       Memorial service will be held at 11 am, Friday, August 17 at the Highland United Methodist Church, 371 Glasgow Road Bella Vista with Reverend Jack Schalbte officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Highland United Methodist Chun Building Fund 371 Glasgow Road Bella Vista AR 72715, or to American Cancer Society c/o Dorothy J.
