HUGH J. McDUFFEE DUNNEGAN — Hugh J McDuffee, 59, Dunnegan, died shortly after arrival at Cox Medical center. Springfield, about 2 p m. Saturday of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Polk County Sheriff Glen Carsun. The man’s wife had found him earlier in his home and Polk County Deputy Everet Ellis investigated. Mr McDuffee had been a resident of Hiimansville and Dunnegan for the past three years moving here from Lake Mary, Fla. He was a retired for General Dynamics Convair Division, San Diego, Calif., and was a member of Harbison Valley Baptist Church in El Cajon. Calif
Survivors include his wife. Dorothea; three daughters, Mrs. Carol Sellers. Wildwood. Ill, Mrs Patty Schrenk, t’laninont. Calif., Miss Diane McDuffee. Santa Ana, Calif; one step son. Daulton Hensley. of Page, An.; one step daughter. Mrs. Don Simpson. Finley, Okla.; a brother, Harold, Oakland. Calif.; seven grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. Murray of Humansville will announce arrangements.
