      Laugel, Andrew – August 9, 1952 - December 22, 2011. Andrew Laugel, compassionate and beloved brother of Karen Laugel Thomas and Annette Laugel Schloss passed peacefully on December 22nd. He is lovingly remembered by brothers-in-law David Schloss and Kenneth Thomas; nephews Ethan Schloss, Ryan and Weston Thomas; nieces Allison Thomas and Ariel Schloss; stepfather Marvin Boland; extended Laugel family members; dear friends of the Asian Classics Institute (ACI) Buddhist Community of Los Angeles; and dear friends and colleagues of Harvard-Westlake School in Santa Monica. A service is planned during March 3-6 at ACI, Culver City, CA.
