      Kanary, Sandra A. – Thomas Twp., Michigan Passed away December 4, 2008 at Cartwright Care Center at age 67 years. Sandra was born March 7, 1941. She was married to Terry M. Kanary on March 28, 1981. Sandra retired from Fabiano Brothers and the Mistequay Group. She enjoyed her potluck group since 7th grade and her card club for over 30 years. Sandra was awarded the Betty Crocker Homemaker of the Year Award in 1957.
       Surviving is her mother Verna Wressell, her husband Terry Kanary, daughter Juli (Rod) Baggett and son Leonard T. Simpson III. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jordan, Dylan, Paige Baggett and Justin T. Simpson. Her brothers Richard (Eva) Wressell, Robert and Charles Wressell, sisters Patricia (Ron) Maul and Barbara (Phil) Henshaw, brother-in-law James (Mary Ellen) Kanary and 16 nieces and nephews. Sandra was predeceased by her father Leo Wressell.
       Funeral Liturgy will take place Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 6400 McCarty Rd. Fr. James Carlson will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 500 N. Michigan on Monday from 3-8 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
