      PARADISE — Graveside services for Chris T. Elmer, 81, of Paradise will be conducted at 3 pm Tuesday Oct 20 in Paradise Cemetery. He died saturday in a local hospital. Christ was born May 27, 1906 in Becker, SD. He was a self-employed mechanic for 50 years. He moved to Paradise in 1962 from Redondo Beach. He was a member of the Hollywood Masonic Lodge. Elmer and his wife Eunice were married in Manitoba, Canada in 1928. They moved to the United States in 1952.
       In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Clifford of Diamond Bar, and Ronald of Paradise; a daughter Adrena Elmer of Paradise; a brother Orville Elmer of Florida; a sister Cristina McKewon of Canada; eight grandchildren. The Rev John Foster of the Paradise United Methodist Church will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Rose Chapel Mortuary.
