      Barbara (Chace) Parkins, 79, of South Yarmouth died September 9, 2010. She was the mother of Robert Parkins of Westminster, CO, Douglas Parkins of Mountville, PA, Steven Parkins of Aventura, FL, and Sandra Barker of Dayton, OH. Sister of Joan Hallberg of Burlington and the late Richard and James Chace. Also survived by 7 grandchildren.
       A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 12 at 1:00 PM at Morris, O’Connor & Blute Funeral Home, 678 Main Street in Harwich Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation, PO Box 370, Hyannis, MA 02601 C/O Davenport-Mugar Cancer Center.
