      Roy M. Herbert, 61, of Wilder Rd. formerly of West Boylston died Wed., Aug. 16, in the Clinton Hospital. He leaves his wife of 25 years, Linda O. (Henchey) Herbert; four children, Christopher of West Boylston, Scott H. of Sterling and Shane H. of Leicester, and Debi J. Fawe of West Boylston and five grandchildren. He was born in Lawrence, son of Merrill and Theresa (Shamberger) Herbert and graduated from North High School and Wentworth Institute in Boston.
       Roy was a salesman for the Original Crispy Pizza Company. He was a former member of the Eight Points Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed fishing, boating and wintering in Florida.
       A Graveside Service will be held Mon., Aug. 20 at 11 AM in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, West Boylston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Town of Sterling Fire Dept. and Ambulance Fund, PO Box 515, Sterling, 01564 or to the American Diabetes Assoc. 330 Congress St., 5th Fl., Boston, 02210.
